Showreel

As a London based DoP with broad experience in documentaries, drama, arts and music, I have filmed in varied environments from the High Arctic to the rain forests of four continents for broadcasters in the UK, USA and Australia. A graduate of the National Film & TV School, I have the reputation for being   easy-going, quick and flexible, priding myself in making every shot count. I have a passion for lighting, whether making the most from available light, or working with a gaffer and trucks full of lamps.

I have directed an award winning film for Discovery (US) in New Guinea ('Warrior Island' “Korowai”) and self-directed shoots for a variety of productions, as well as my own documentaries. 

I have access to all camera formats from digital cinema down to half-inch broadcast, plus a sophisticated personalised lighting kit suitable for most documentary or ‘small space’ drama situations. Also, a KeyWest suitcase dolly with tracks or pneumatic wheels and an ABC TopShot crane.  

My UK transport is fitted out for a crew of up to four plus equipment.
